Practical Workshops
For medical and nursing staff, caregivers, volunteers, and more!
Workshops for one and all
Practical workshops offered by trained therapeutic clown artists
In addition to the clown trainings offered by the therapeutic clowns of the Dr Clown Foundation, these practical workshops are one-off events aimed at caregivers, medical, nursing or teaching staff or volunteers working with people in vulnerable situations.
With practical and concrete goals, these workshops are designed based on the values and skills of clowning, but are accessible to anyone interested in practicing more open and caring relationships.
Keys to kindness : presence and joy
Workshop description
This practical workshop is centered on the human being and focuses on feelings, emotions as well as the sharing of practices and experiences. The instructors will use their skills as therapeutic clowns to offer you some tools in your supporting role. Their mission within the Dr Clown Foundation is to contribute to improving the quality of life of vulnerable people through visits combining complicity, play and imagination. It is precisely this facet of their art that they will invite you to discover during this workshop.
Through the exercises and scenarios offered, you will be led to concretely experience the values of the clown (lightness, simplicity, honesty, joy and openness). This will also allow you to explore your relationships with audacity, surpassing yourself and inhabiting your body in a free and joyful way.
*The workshop’s main language is French but it can be adapted to bilingual or anglophone speakers.
Session goals
- Play with joy and openness
