Each edition of the Ball brings its much-appreciated auctions. The first is a silent auction, available to guests one week before the event and throughout the evening. It features lots to suit all tastes and budgets. The second is a live auction, held during the final part of the evening, showcasing a selection of prestigious lots.
All proceeds from these auctions go directly to the mission of the Dr. Clown Foundation and help provide even more moments of joy to vulnerable individuals.

We are looking for sponsoring companies who wish to contribute to our silent and live auctions. You can make a difference by generously donating items, gift certificates, or services that will be auctioned off during this evening.
Some examples of sought donations: gift certificates, alcoholic and/or gourmet products, products from Quebec artisans, collectibles, services, cultural outings, unique experiences, local products, etc.

Artistic Direction and Hosting
Is this your first Imaginary Ball? Let our artistic director Mathieu Riel tell you more about what to expect on May 26 and find out who will be emceeing the evening.
” The Imaginary Ball is a festive opportunity to discover the world of therapeutic clowning. This evening will offer you a heartfelt immersion where a unique connection is woven between your generosity and our therapeutic clown artists: from the heart to the clown.
Your participation to this events allows for thousands of eyes to light up, laughter to ring out despite hardships, loneliness to find comfort, and challenges to be faced with courage and determination.
As a therapeutic clown and artistic director of the Ball, I want to share with you the joy that moves us in every moment when our clowns contribute to these transformations. Enjoy the evening! “

Richard Turcotte is our event host!
With nearly 37 years in the industry, Richard Turcotte is a multi-talented artist who thrives on challenges and finds his own joy in bringing it to others.
A seasoned radio and television host, he has won the hearts of audiences across Quebec through beloved programs such as Les Grandes Gueules, Salut Bonjour! Week-end, and La poule aux œufs d’or. His remarkable career has also taken him to the stage — with over 300 performances of La folle odyssée de Jacques-Cartier — to music, composing for some of Quebec’s most celebrated artists, and even to home renovation alongside his family in La réno casse-cou de Richard.
A true epicurean at heart, Richard believes in stepping outside your comfort zone and inspiring others to carve their own path — a philosophy he shares in his book Être l’artiste de sa vie. Passionate, generous, and always ready for his next adventure, he promises to make our annual fundraising event a truly unforgettable evening.
